TAMIL NADU CRICKET ASSOCIATION FOR THE BLIND

About TCAB

POSSIBILITY STARTS WITH PARTICIPATION

A place to play.
A platform to grow.

Since 2009, TCAB has helped create opportunities for visually impaired cricketers across Tamil Nadu.

We bring players together through cricket, building confidence, leadership and connection — and creating a pathway from grassroots participation to the national stage.

OUR STORY

Cricket opens
new possibilities.

The Tamil Nadu Cricket Association for the Blind was founded with a clear purpose: to promote sport for people with visual impairments and bring their athletic talents into public view.

As the governing association for blind cricket across Tamil Nadu, TCAB nurtures players from grassroots participation towards state and national opportunities. Affiliated to CABI, the association provides a platform for players to develop their game and gain recognition through sport.

Our work is about more than competition. Training and playing as a team can help develop self-confidence, physical fitness, communication and leadership — qualities that matter on and beyond the cricket field.

WHAT DRIVES US

An inclusive future, built together.

Make room for talent.

Promote blind cricket, support player development and give visually impaired athletes a professional platform to participate and be recognised.

See the possibilities.

Build a stronger, more inclusive future through cricket, where players can develop their abilities, contribute to a team and pursue their sporting ambitions.

FROM PRACTICE TO POSSIBILITY

Helping players
take the next step.

Explore our achievements
  1. Develop the foundations

Training and camp activities help players build cricket skills, fitness and confidence.

  2. Grow through competition

State championships, South Zone tournaments and women’s blind cricket series create opportunities to play as a team.

  3. Work towards the national stage

Competitive pathways and national-level selections give players opportunities to progress. Tamil Nadu players have represented India, including at World Cups.
